Red Butte Garden and Arboretum is the largest botanical and ecological center in the Intermountain West that tests, displays and interprets regional horticulture. It maintains a collection of over 20,000 individual plants including 1,500 different species from all over the world. Red Butte provides year-round walking and hiking access to more than 150 acres of gardens and natural area. Four seasons of educational and recreational programs including classes and workshops, concerts, festivals, nature outings and kids programs are supported.
