Description:

The Wavy Cyanea or Leechleaf Cyanea is an unbranched shrub with unique wavy-margined leaves and yellowish flowers. Orange hairs cover the flowers and the undersides of the leaves.

This Cyanea species grows along the bank of a tributary.

This shrub is found in the wet forests of the Wahiawa Drainage Basin area in southern Kauai.
