Description:

This member of the ivy family has flowers that range from pink, green, and yellow in color, that eventually mature into small, beaked fruits.

Where is (Polyscias lydgatei) located in the wild?

Habitat:

This ivy species prefers habitats of mesic to wet climates, with full to partial sun. 

Distribution:

It grows in the Ko'olau Mountain Range naturally, but a subpopulation has been planted in a fenced area of the Kulepeamoa Ridge in an effort to conserve this rare species.
