Description:

This tall shrub species is a member of the bellflower family, with fern-life leaves, whitish-green flowers and ellipsoid berry fruits. What sets this species apart from related Cyanea species are its slender stems, stalked habit, uniquely divided leaves, and its smaller flowers. Fewer than 10 plants are estimated to remain in its native range. Ecological threats include competition with introduced plants, especially passionfruit species, sawtooth blackberry, grass species, and common holly. Unregulated grazing by livestock and habitat degradation by feral pigs also contribute to the threatened status of this species.

Where is Shipman's Cyanea (Cyanea shipmanii) located in the wild?
