Buds, flowers, and fruits can all be seen here. These plants have a short window of growth and can complete their reproductive process in as short as two weeks. The green swollen nodules on the stem are where the fruit is housed. Once those fruits are mature the nodules become slightly more enlarged and begin to turn brown before dropping seed.
