    Hi all,

We have a corpse flower (Amorphophallus titanum) ready to bloom here at the Cincinnati Zoo, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with collecting pollen, storing pollen, or storing seed with it. Any advice would be appreciated!

This response was transmitted to the info account via @kayri-havens – good to know CBG has experience with this :).  I am not sure you got the email that contain the contact info so I forwarded it along.

Megan, I suggest contacting Pat Herendeen and Jeremie Fant, cc’d here. They have been managing the pollination of our titans.

Emily Colletti handles all of that at Missouri Botanical Garden- Emily.Colletti@mobot.org

I suggest contacting our Collections supervisor who has done this successfully multiple times— and shared pollen with others.

He happens to be at the Steve Jones AERGC meeting this week so may have a number of others there who you could also talk to.
