Distribution This species is known only from a small area within the Cascade Range in Shasta County, California. 22 occurrences are believed extant, with an additional 5 considered historical or unrankable. Almost all occurrences are within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, where it is considered a Sensitive Species. Potential threats include mining, logging, and road building/expansion, and recreation.
