Description:

This species was previously inducted into the National Collection as Echinodorus parvulus. However, this rare taxon was lumped into the more widely distributed E. tenellus, however, it has not been deaccessioned from the National Collection in recognition of the sponsorship granted to Chicago Botanic Garden.
