Xylorhiza cognata and an unknown lepidopteran

Taken east of Mecca, CA in the Mecca Hills area during a CaPR trip. Xylorhiza cognata is a rare endemic to the Colorado Desert (1B.2/G2) and usually found in canyon slopes of sandy washes. Truly a gem to see!
