Summer interns, Bethany Burns and Abigail Steinwachs, brave the Florida scrub in July to help with collection of seed from the endangered sedge, Rhynchospora megaplumosa. Seeds were collected for ex situ seed banking as part of the Florida Rare Plants Initiative.
