Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden Director of Regional Conservation Jenn Possley and Seed Bank Curator Nick Matsumoto collect Dalea floridana seeds from Big Cypress National Preserve. Mature inflorescences turn ash-gray like color when ready to collect.
