The Seed Program Manager (Manager) is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the day-to-day operation of
the Mojave Desert Seed Bank, including the collection, processing, curation, and storage of seed from MDLT properties
and other lands within MDLT’s service area. The Manager will work closely with the Director of Plant Conservation
Programs (Director) on the implementation of a $3.19 million grant over the next four years, establishing and
implementing collection priorities, developing and maintaining budgets and databases, building relationships with local
Native American Indian Tribes and other external partners, developing and implementing best practices and protocols
and overseeing 3-6 staff members.
