About Gagan Tripathi is the founder of Plant Orbit, and someone who’s been deeply connected to plants for as long as he can remember. What started as a childhood curiosity—watching how plants grew, collecting leaves, experimenting with water and soil—slowly turned into a lifelong passion. He studied botany in college, but most of his real learning happened outside classrooms—through hands-on experience, observing plant behavior, and talking to local growers and nursery owners. Over the years, he’s developed a strong understanding of plant propagation, especially succulents and indoor species. He’s grown hundreds of plants from cuttings, seeds, and offsets—often experimenting with what works best in different conditions. Gagan isn’t just focused on selling plants—he genuinely cares about how they’re grown, how they adapt, and how we can take better care of them in today’s fast-moving world. A lot of what he does at Plant Orbit is driven by that same sense of curiosity and care—making it easier for people to enjoy plants without feeling overwhelmed. Whether it’s helping someone pick their first succulent or sharing tips on reviving a wilting leaf, he’s all about keeping it real, learning constantly, and helping others grow along the way—just like his plants.
