Seed Bank Coordinator (Full Time)
We’re looking for an outgoing, organized conservationist to maintain and expand the Wildflower Center’s conservation seed bank, with a focus on protecting uncommon and threatened plants from across Texas. The individual will steward existing collections through seed preparation, data organization, seed viability testing, and development of standard protocols, as well as extensive fieldwork to collect germplasm and plant demographic data. Seed Bank Technician (Full Time)
The Science and Conservation team is seeking a Seed Bank Technician to lead lab work for its new seed bank viability and germination trials. This position will work closely with our Seed Bank Coordinator and Conservation Collections Manager to develop new seed testing protocols, run viability trials with seeds within the existing collection, improve stewardship of our collections, and assist with seed collection fieldwork.
