We are excited to advertise a position on the Rare Plant Conservation Team at Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. We seek qualified candidates for Rare Plant Conservation Technician 2, which requires either a Master’s degree or a B.S. and 5 years of experience. The position will have a focus on applied rare plant conservation and research. We are especially interested in candidates with GIS skills and field experience. Major duties include seasonal, overnight field work in remote locations, collecting and managing field data, and assisting with report writing and public outreach. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mid-career and looking for opportunities to work in diverse ecosystems to understand, protect and restore rare plants in California.
